Safety release stirrup connections are now used on all my little saddles with covered leather flaps.
A great safety addition to my products. I am busy making saddles still and if anyone wants an order for Christmas, please let me know as soon as you can as I am going to be busy. About Me

Hi, my name is Fiona Green. I live in Tauranga, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. I have been involved with horses and Pony Club for almost 45 years now. A few years ago I was lucky enough to be working as a machinist doing repairs in a saddlery in Fielding and Palmerston North. The saddlery was Horsewyse and I had an amazing amount of raw materials and resources to work with. I was teaching at Pony Club and I was always keen on making fun and new things for kids and their ponies. I found there was a market for a light weight small bareback pad or saddle for minis, small ponies and donkeys. I decided to try something funky and after lots of trials I came up with some themed Bareback Saddle Pads. I have further developed the saddle pads and I now produce five different products which I make to order. Check my pages for information on each of the products.

About My Saddles

The Natural Saddles concept came from a demand for saddle pads that keep the rider in close contact with the horse. Young children who needed something lightweight and colourful really love my fun little saddles. I have also developed something special for kids that have little natural balance, and are able to feel safe riding in a saddle that gives them support. Both children and adults are now using these saddles for comfort and lightness of the saddle. They are excellent for everything from mini's to horses, even donkeys, rocking horses and hard to fit horses. Natural saddles are comfortable and lightweight making them easy for children to saddle their own ponies. They are availabe in almost any colour and design. You choose and I will make it for you. I hope you like them.
